Plays all DVD region 1-6 (Automatic) PAL/NTSC. 3D capacity. Plays Blu-Ray region A & B (Manual Switchable) PAL/NTSC. ICOS Modified, 100% upgradeable. Can be upgraded with all the latest firmware updates, will NOT effect the ICOS modification. The SONY BDP-S570 players have 3D.. If you want a player that are more basic but still 3D ready, you should consider the SONY BDP-S470. The SONY BDP-S570 have WiFi and Ethernet/Internet functions, the SONY BDP-S470 does not.
